Research Interests:
I am interested in plant community ecology and species interactions. More specifically, I use phylogenetics to answer ecological questions, and am especially curious how interspecies interactions shape communities. I'm currently investigating whether facilitation impacts the phylogenetic makeup of high elevation plant communities in the Rocky Mountains. In particular, I'm curious if overlapping flowering timing might increase pollinator visitation for the entire patch, and drive phylogenetic patterns.
