Research Interests:
I am broadly interested in the short- and long-term impacts of whole genome duplication events (polyploidy) on shaping patterns of biodiversity and plant genome architecture. Currently, I am exploring how the distribution of fitness effects (DFE) is shaped by ploidy level, and how the shape of the DFE changes over long periods of time following polyploidy events in Brassica as a model system.
