If you are thinking about suicide or are concerned about someone else, call, text, or chat National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 988.
Help save a life with three simple steps.
Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year, thousands of Americans like you are saying "yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, family member, or neighbor.
Life & Work Connections and Campus Health bring QPR Gatekeeper Training to the University of Arizona. Learn more about QPR from the QPR Institute.
QPR Gatekeeper Training
QPR Gatekeeper Training sessions are open to any interested staff members, faculty, and students. In this training, participants learn how to recognize suicidal behavior in co-workers, employees, family, and friends, to ask important questions, and get them to help.
Sessions can be brought to your department or classroom and customized to last between 90 minutes and 120 minutes.
