Education:

  • PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Arizona (2026- present)
  • BS in Applied Mathematics - Biology, Brown University (2022-2026

Research Interests:

I am interested in the diversity of behaviors and adaptations exhibited by ants. I used to be focused on systematics and phylogenetics of Formicidae in the past, however, as my research interest developed, I shifted more into the areas of mathematical modeling, comparative analysis, and field work. For my graduate studies, I hope to combine these areas and explore which approaches different species of ants have evolved to optimally gain and distribute available resources with subsequent applications to fields of engineering, logistics, and cognitive sciences.
