I am interested in the biogeography of plants located throughout the Madrean Sky Islands, with a particular focus on how climate change is impacting these plant populations. I want to better understand the genetic differences between populations to inform conservation strategies for threatened plant populations. I highly value the intersection of government, industry, academia, and community engagement to ensure at-risk plant populations are conserved. I strive to create an environment where historically marginalized communities are involved and actively participate in science
